Travelling with my Aunties

This blog has not been updated since April of 2015 due to the fact that I was busy travelling. Now that I have a enough free time, I can blog now as much as I want.

Anyway, last April this year; I had a memorable trips with my aunties from California. First stop, they stayed in Abu Dhabi as they are coming from San Francisco, USA. Then, we went off to Dubai for some cultural and shopping trips and then went to Maldives for a beautiful holiday trip.

To make the story short, Here are the photos of the trips (from Sand Dune City of Abu Dhabi to the Paradise Island of the Maldives).

Of Doing Pilates

It is actually my first time to try Pilates. Hard, Fun, Sweating,  Stretching and Core that is Pilates. Well by the way, what is Pilates? Any idea?

Anyway, Pilates (according to Wikipedia) is a "physical fitness system developed in the early 20th century by the Greek German-born Joseph Pilates. It is especially practiced in the United States (where Pilates lived, developed and taught his method) and the United Kingdom (where he lived and taught early stages of his method). In short, it is a method as the art of controlled movements, which should look and feel like a workout (not a therapy) when properly manifested".

"If practiced with consistency, Pilates improves flexibility, builds strength and develops control and endurance in the whole human body. It puts emphasis on alignment, breathing, developing a strong powerhouse, and improving coordination and balance. Pilates' system allows for different exercises to be modified in range of difficulty from beginner to advanced or to any other level, and also in terms of the instructor and practitioner's specific goals and/or limitations. Intensity can be increased over time as the body conditions and adapts to the exercise".

So now that I know the great benefits of Pilates in our health, I will regularly attend my Pilates Class either by hook or by crook. Chass;-)

The Rise of the Blue Denim - Spring/Summer 2015

I am not a fashion critic or a fashion forecaster but when I saw this in social media I feel the urge to write about it.

Anyhow, In this blog; this is my first article about fashion. FYI he he he. Well, actually blue denim is always a staple or a must thing to wear on in our daily lives but maybe I was blown away by the beautiful styling of the photo that's why I am rushing to vent it.

But I for one always loves to wear blue jeans or blue denim. It is something that calculated in my mind that if it is a jeans or denims then it should be blue or must be blue. Pathetic but I always loves blue.

In fact, I even quote a writer from a fashion magazine saying about blue denim: " it shows that, for this spring/summer 2015 season, they aren’t just thinking about clothes for a life we aspire to – one of cocktail parties, jet-set getaways and high-powered meetings in office towers – but also the one we actually live." This is indeed true.

And with that statement, I am excited  for the summer or spring to come this year because I love and I want to wear this blue denim plus the style that I have in mind.  For now, it is a hush hush thing. Some one might copy my style ha ha ha:-)

Loving Body Combat

At first I have a lot of hesitations joining this kind of activity. Why? because I was thinking that I cannot make it and that I will hyperventilate or something like that. Ha ha ha Indeed, I am a Gemini; I always over think but now that I tried I am not any more. Anyways, to continue this article; I am so into this exercise because it is a combination of dance, some martial arts, muay thai's and boxing movements.

Body Combat is a one hour physical fitness activity. It starts with boxing movements; basic jabs. I forgot the terms but the work out starts with jabbing and then together with the movement of the legs. They should in sync together both hands and legs plus with a rhythmic or dance able tunes; nothing beats this fun. Then later the martial arts form like kicking out with your legs plus the jabs or the boxing thing put together. Until, it will be more harder movements and more sweats. According to Wikipedia and I just found out that there are 12 tracks exercises for this activity in which provided by Les mills International (the only sole provider of this fitness exercise in the entire world). And every three months they reformat the music and movements of this work out.

In fact, I always make sure that I have two body combat work outs every week (char). I don't know but it's worth,  the adrenaline and all the endorphins that comes out in my body.  I felt good after the work out actually. So I am encouraging you guys to try this out if you want to live longer and healthier.

Of Losing Weight

Previously, I Weight 80 kg(Dec 2014). Now, My Weight is 75 Kg(Marc 01, 2015)

This subject is vague for me because I am not in the authority to talk or write about this matter. I am no Jennifer Hudson (my thin inspiration) but somehow, I can say or write about losing weight because right now I lose weight of 5 kg.

Previously, I was 80 kg but as per height and weight standard; A person with 5'7 or 5'8 height should have 72 or 74 kg weight maximum. I am 75 kg now (my weight). So it's a 3 kg difference now and soon I will achieve my ideal weight. In fact, I am still on the process of losing weight more (so help me God).

Well, basically to lose weight is to eat right and exercise. That is the basic rule and to achieve your ideal weight you need some dedication and determination in achieving that goal. But actually my secret to lose weight is not so secret anymore. It's a given fact that losing weight is eating right amount of food and exercise and my secret is not to eat a lot during dinner or night time. Eat just right like a salad or milk and banana. Just to avoid emptiness of your tummy. Then in the morning that is the time you eat full breakfast to gain energy for the day's hard work. But do not forget to exercise daily even just for 20 minutes  that's the other secret I've got. Do the exercise later after office or if you are free.

Losing Weight is a constant struggle for all of us but always bear in mind that we are  not getting any younger. Our system/metabolism will get slower and slower and to lessen that we must do something. Aging is not something to be afraid of but rather to be ready and prepared. Thus, Losing weight is a major factor to avoid aging fast instead gaining more strength and adding more life.
